A LITTLE ABOUT GER
Where stories grow naturally.
Gerardine White — known as Ger White — grew up in the wild open country of West Limerick, Ireland, where poetry fell from people’s tongues as easily as the rain fell from the roofs.
Inspired by family, nature, humour and the human spirit, she writes poems that feel like a conversation with an old friend: thoughtful, uplifting, and full of heart.
Discover Ger's StoryFrom the shores of Ballybunion to the hills of West Limerick, there's a story in every landscape.

KIND WORDS
What readers are saying
“Enchanting. Many of Ger’s poems are like that; they draw the reader in with the simple beauty of her words until one finds oneself immersed in a deeper story, one that touches one’s heart and soul.”
— Jim Bates, Writer, Minnesota, USA
“Out of Ireland have come some great poets like John O'Donohue, William Butler Yeats and Seamus Heaney. My brilliant Irish poet friend Ger White is keeping that important bardic tradition alive.”
— Justin Wiggins, poet and writer, North Carolina, USA
“…enjoy her depictions of nature and warm, down-to-earth snapshots of family life.”
— Denise d’Sousa, poet, Surrey, UK
